The Anvil Blasters
finished out the show with five not-so-common western ballads by Jim Cornelius, Tom Russell, and Dave Stamey. Jim Cornelius artfully led on guitar and vocals, Jody Creed fed the music energy with her driving bass, Gary Miller laced the breaks with rippin' banjo and wistful dobro, Lynn Woodward torched the last number with her vocals, and Charley Engel gracefully slid in from his role as MC to layer in his hoppin' harp leads.
