Based on recognition Clay Maier receives for The Freisian Spectacular performances — where he rides one horse and simultaneously drives one or two others on long lines (called tandem riding), performing intricate dressage maneuvers and eventually galloping over jumps and weaving around barrels, each horse in a different direction (yes, "Wow!" is a frequent response) — these ads in expo/show books and horse magazines are to introduce Clay's clinics, and Rein Dance line of tutorial DVDs and ground driving supplies. The designs and several photos are my creation.
The above "ad" was commissioned by Clay's former employers, Jim and Judy Knapp, and placed in The Friesian magazine, as an expression of thanks and a way of announcing Clay's new endeavors. The design and portrait and rearing photos are my creation.
