Prints are made with archival paper and inks, on either an Epson 2200 or a Canon Pixma 6700, both excellent photo printers. Matte or glossy finish available. Add $3.00 for first-class mail, $5.50 for priority mail; express shipping and large orders will incur higher postage costs. Prints are intended for personal use only. No rights of usage are transferred with prints (i.e., prints may not be published without granted rights. Furthermore, a scanned print then printed again produces a mediocre image; you will want the original file for printing purposes).

What Does All That Technical Jargon Mean to My Horse & Me?
You may buy the original file (it may need some adjusting, cropping, etc.) so you can print a bunch of copies for all your friends and relatives. That would be Non-exclusive limited use for $30.

If you would like to publish an image any number of times, say, on your website, in an ad, on posters, etc. — in other words, if you are using the image to make money — then your usage is Non-exclusive unlimited at $75. And make a few prints for yourself, too.

Whenever one of my photos is published, a credit line of "photo: Lynn Woodward" is required by copyright law; but much more important to me — and I thank you for remembering, too — this is how I make my living. All of my business comes from word-of-mouth and photo credits.

At a public event, such as a horse show, anyone may photograph anyone else without model releases. If I am hired to photograph a person or animal in a private session, unless a prior agreement has been made, I may reuse or resell any of those images. If I am asked about purchase of an image, I will first make every effort to contact the subject to ask permission. I always have the right to use any image to point out that I took the photograph.

If you would like more than 10 files, I will cut you an "Oregon Gold Horse Show" discount.

Your horses could care less about all this — but they do like for you to be happy.

Rate for a photoshoot is $60 per hour. Files for publication, prints, or webpage portal are additional as described above.

Package prices, with non-exlusive unlimited rights to use all photos from a shoot are available.

Travel within a half-hour radius of Sisters, Oregon is no charge. Travel beyond is $30 per hour.
